Description:
Our client is seeking an Investment Manager to help in supporting transaction execution, valuation, financing, negotiations of project agreements, as well as general business development / origination. One of the role’s responsibilities is to own and run complex project finance models for transactions in various stages of development, starting from M&A transactions and greenfield projects with planning, grid and land rights, to execution and financial close.
Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
* Build and run complex project finance models for greenfield project and acquisition opportunities.
* Support the evaluation, structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance and acquisition transactions.
* Provide support or lead the drafting of Investment Committee and Board papers.
* Support the preparation of formal bid process responses, non-binding and binding offers.
* Prepare and present complex analysis to internal stakeholders to facilitate effective decision making.
* Support, assess and execute revenue and debt strategies.
Qualifications And Experience:
* Minimum three / four years of relevant experience.
* Proven experience in financial modelling of complex transactions.
* Project evaluation, project management, relationship management, negotiation and due diligence capabilities.
* Minimum degree qualification (business, economics, accounting, maths or equivalent), ideally MBA, CFA or comparable financial certification.
* Able to own investment decision making and understand the impact on potential investments.
* Experience preferably in Renewables / Infrastructure / Energy sector.
