Our client, a reputable organisation in the Central Government sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Investigator to join their dynamic team for a temporary position. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex cases of fraud, corruption, and bribery while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with investigators and case team members to draught clear, accurate, and concise witness statements from transcripts and other relevant documents.
Produce summarised file notes and additional documentation as required.
Review documents on digital platforms to identify key evidence and lines of inquiry.
Assist with interviews and demonstrate a willingness to travel within the UK.
Identify potentially disclosable and sensitive material to support the organisation in fulfilling disclosure obligations under the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 and the Attorney General Guidelines.
Support the case team with additional relevant tasks as needed.Essential Criteria:

A degree level qualification or equivalent experience in interpreting, analysing, and accurately describing complex information from various sources.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage large quantities of information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to handle extensive data sets.
Strong prioritisation and multitasking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
Adaptability to changing case priorities and a professional approach to collaboration with internal and external parties.
Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
A proactive mindset and willingness to undertake relevant training to enhance role effectiveness.Desirable Criteria:

Experience or knowledge of criminal law, particularly related to white-collar crime, prosecutions, or similar investigations.
