Description:
Inventory Coordinator
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
* Establishing initial stock holding figures for base fabrics and coated fabric stocks to ensure the Fabrics Division is able to satisfy requirements from the client
* Establish and review stock holding figures ensuring this is communicated to the General Manager.
* To assist with reviewing lead times from suppliers to ensure fabric stock cover is always available at the Fabrics Division.
* To assist with the monitoring of sales of fabric and work with suppliers and the sales team to minimise the levels of redundant stock as fabric programmes are discontinued.
* Ensure Purchase orders are raised and expedited in line with sales and stock demands
* To liaise with suppliers regarding rejected base fabric to ensure they recognise their responsibility to replace reject fabric quickly with perfect base.
* To liaise with the QC team to raise debits against none conformance documentation.
* Create and Maintain Supplier Database of Sampling , Trials and Bulk Production Communication
* Liase with Suppliers to Ensure Finished Standards and Specifications are available
* To liaise with the production planning team to advise levels of finished stockholding required to fulfil stock levels of finished stock in advance of requirement.
* To use trend analysis to identify sales cycles and provide alerts to appropriate colleagues and fabric suppliers.
* To support with purchasing, shipping and exporting when required.
* To adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety standards as defined in the Health and Safety Policy.
* To perform within the requirements of your position.
* To provide general administrative duties when required.
* Occasional Worldwide travel may be required
* To carry out any other duties when required. This may involve working in other departments.
Requirements:
* Experience in planning, purchasing and managing the flow of materials and supplies through an organisation.
* Experience of sourcing from Europe and the Far East.
* Experience of Fabrics and Textiles
* Familiar with modern inventory management system.
* Experience of using Microsoft AX.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to train others.
* Knowledge of MS Office (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
* Basic knowledge of shipping.
* Excellent communication skills and a polite, confident telephone manner.
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
