Location: Mainstream Primary School, KS1
Position: Full-Time Intervention Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated full-time Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 1 (KS1) team starting in September. This role focuses on delivering targeted intervention sessions in phonics, maths, reading, and English to small groups of students. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping students who need additional support to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct small group intervention sessions in phonics, maths, reading, and English.
Work closely with class teachers to identify students who would benefit from additional support.
Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans to address specific learning needs.
Monitor and record students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help students build confidence and skills.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate students.
Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in intervention teaching.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly within KS1.
Strong knowledge of phonics, maths, reading, and English teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or training in education or teaching assistance are desirable.
Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake a new one.What We Offer:
