Brighton College is seeking an Intern (Business Development) to start in September 2024. This is a full-time role, working in the Brighton College International (BCI) team.
The Internship (Business Development) role:
This will be a 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension to the contract or a permanent position.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Intern (Business Development) to join our team. This role is designed for a driven individual who is eager to contribute to Brighton College International’s growth strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international education and strategic corporate development within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities for the Internship (Business Development):
Assist in the market research to identify new business opportunities and potential partners for BCI.
Support the use and management of internal CRM systems to ensure a smooth development pipeline.
Help in preparing sales proposals and information decks for potential investors/ partners.
Participate in the planning and execution of strategies to improve conversion rates.
Engage in activities that promote BCI services in the market and assist in increasing the network of schools under the Brighton College name.
Support in cultivating relationships with stakeholders, including alumni and parents, to identify potential partners and agents.
What we're looking for in our Internship (Business Development):
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on Business and Management, Marketing, or a related field.
A genuine interest in working within a school setting.
Strong writing, research, and proof-reading skills, with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Initiative and creativity in approaching business development challenges.
Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break (37.5 hours per week). There may be scope for flexibility with these hours, this is to be discussed at interview.

Salary
The hourly rate for this role will be based on either the National Living Wage or the National Minimum Wage depending on age
