Internal Verifier - Digital Marketing
Part-time, 16 hours per month

Summary of role 
You will support the delivery team to ensure they are up-to-date, competent, and confident to drive learners to achievement, whilst ensuring SLA and internal strategies are met. Responsible for evaluating and endorsing the effectiveness, consistency, currency, sufficiency, validity, and reliability of teaching, learning, and assessment delivery.

Summary of Principle Accountabilities 

Fully conversant with the Skills Development Scotland Quality Framework ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and programme development.

Manage and facilitate interactive, immersive & engaging interactions including 121 sessions, virtual group sessions, digital learning interventions forums and chat sessions to your learners.

Produce quality assurance reports in adherence to Babington's quality standards and within agreed-upon timelines.

Attend and actively participate in visits conducted by SQA quality assurance staff.

Aid assessors in standardising assessment evidence and facilitate sharing best practices.

Complete internal verification reports timely and contribute to quality action plan.

Uphold the IQA sampling strategy through various activities, ensuring that pertinent documents are current, accurate, and reliable.

Participate in complaint/appeals procedures outlined in the centre's established guidelines.

Provide support for internal inspection audit activities, contributing to the review of progress against internal and external quality frameworks.

Ensuring all quality standards are met across vocational areas to maximise timely and overall success rates (including adhering to quarterly sample plan/deep dive)

Essential Qualifications

Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent

SCQF6 Diploma in Digital Marketing qualification 

Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practices

Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or willingness to acquire

Skills and experience 

Experience of developing individualised learning plans and SMART targets

Coaching to embed behavioural change experience

Experience in using digital technologies and experiences to deliver learning  

Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies

Experience of providing interactive and engaging teaching, training, and development opportunities to adults

Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision

Experience of working in an accredited environment, industry, or practice

Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, Funding Bodies, HMEI and other regulatory arrangements for example (Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS)
