Full time - Permanent
Working Hours - 08:30 – 17:00 with a 1 hour lunch break
We are currently recruiting for a Internal Technical Sales to join our client based in Swindon.
* To produce written quotations – using various Windows based tools / routines.
* To produce drawings against enquires for all customers; CAD drawings (Using in house drawing software or AutoCAD) for approval by customers promptly and accurately.
* To liaise constantly with the Sales Office Manager, Warehouse / Logistics Manager and all colleagues concerning priorities. Time management and the ability to converse precisely and effectively are key.
* The ability to speak directly with customers via telephone and email concerning queries and the finalisation of any details. The applicant should also be commercially minded and aware in this respect.
* To become familiar with the internal CRM software package and apply all current procedures in its use.
* To become familiar with the drawing software package and apply all current procedures in its use.
* To become familiar with Stock and Management software package and apply all current procedures in its use.
* The ability to assist in other areas of the business when / where necessary, having a versatile skillset and adaptability is a plus.
* To operate and liaise with personnel at other business sites.
* Where appropriate and necessary to utilise design skills to achieve customer’s and company objectives.
* To co-ordinate customers projects by liaising with group and external suppliers.
* To be very active in assisting and ensuring profitable business and business achieving targeted monthly sales.
* To be commercially aware in all activities
* To become fully conversant with Health and Safety legislation and European Union directives relevant to Machine Safety, and Storage and Material Handling applications.
Relevant training will be available now and in the future as appropriate.
Experience:
Highly Organised with excellent time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Customer focused with a can-do attitude and commercially aware.
Proficient IT user, familiarity with MS Office software and the ability to adapt to client based systems.
Knowledge of CAD software is essential
Practical as well as analytical with sales back ground
