Reed are partnering with a specialist supplier within the industrial and technical products sector to recruit an Internal Sales & Business Development Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join a successful and growing business, managing existing customer relationships while proactively developing new business opportunities.

Working closely with customers across trade and industrial markets, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding service, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to the continued success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts
Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, orders and after-sales support
Build strong long-term relationships with customers
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Prepare and follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates
Maintain accurate customer records and CRM data
Support external sales representatives with sales administration activitiesBusiness Development

Identify and target new business opportunities within industrial and trade sectors
Generate leads through telephone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
Qualify prospects and arrange sales discussions where appropriate
Deliver engaging product and service presentations
Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs
Support sales and marketing campaigns to drive business growthSales Administration & Reporting

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting information
Produce regular sales activity reports
Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
Keep CRM systems updated with customer interactions and opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For

Essential

Previous experience in internal sales, account management or business development
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and target-driven approach
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong administration skills with high attention to detail
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsDesirable

Experience within industrial products, engineering supplies, trade distribution or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of technical products and solutions
Experience using ERP or order management systems
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsWhat's on Offer?

£28,000 - £38,000 basic salary dependent on experience
