Technical Internal Sales Representative - Newmarket - £45k
My client is a global engineering business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and reliability across industrial and energy markets.
They are looking for a Technical Internal Sales Representative to join their growing team in Newmarket. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and working with technically focused products.
The role:
+ Manage and qualify inbound leads, taking opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation.
+ Proactively generate your own pipeline through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and other prospecting activity.
+ Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
+ Understand customer requirements and assist with product selection.
+ Identify opportunities for upselling and additional revenue.
+ Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline.
We’re looking for:
+ Ideally 5+ years' sales experience.
+ A technical mindset with the ability to understand basic engineering concepts.
+ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
+ Resilience and confidence when prospecting and handling rejection.
+ Strong customer service skills.
