Location: Portsmouth
Remuneration: £27,500 - £35,000 + Circa £15,000 bonus
The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Renewable Energy Products will involve:
* Internal sales position selling a range of solar energy renewable products such as solar PV, heat pumps, car charging, solar lighting, voltage optimizers, battery storage.
* All of your time will be spent selling to contractors, electrical installers, renewable installers, manufacturers, councils and the general public
* The role will be primarily managing existing accounts (80%) with business development taking up 20% of your time
* Handling inbound enquiries via telephone and email
* Raising quotes and orders for customers
* Initially there will be no targets, however as you progress within the role you will be targeted on new trade business accounts, on boarding new customers & sales
* Project sizes can vary from 2 panel kits used on roofs to 1000 panel solar farms
* Order values can fluctuate massively, with some valued at £1000 and others rising to £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive – Renewable Energy Products with:
* Must have a proven track record in sales
* Must have experience within the renewable energy industry
* Would consider someone from a heating or electrical background providing they have extensive sales experience in these industries
* Must be sales driven, show a willingness to learn and to progress within the company
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Confident telephone manner
* Excellent customer service skills
* Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
