Internal Sales Executive

We have a requirement for an Internal Sales Executive to work out of a Thirsk office. This opportunity will to be joining one of the leading metal distributors in the UK – with a fantastic track record of training, developing and upskilling their employees into leadership positions.

Requirements - What we need from you

* Building relationships with new and existing clients – Your role will evolve around providing the best customer service possible to house accounts to help build long lasting and effective working relationships.

* Organisation – Your daily duties will involve maintaining effective systems; Reviewing resources and workload; adjusting as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.

* Ability to learn – Successful candidates must be willing to learn and take advice from senior team members to ensure that you quickly pick up new skills which will benefit your career within the company.

* Communication – Candidates must be able to communicate effectively within a team as well as the ability to communicate professionally via the telephone and email.

Summary

Your sole responsibility will be to help service existing and new customers with their material needs. This will require a strong account manager who can build and develop relationships with clients.

Our Client needs someone who is Highly personable, positive and friendly; who can work methodically to effectively organise existing systems. The successful candidate will proactively work with colleagues to service all areas of the business within a calm and professional manner.

Your workload may fluctuate due to demand so no two days will be the same, and you will do a variety of tasks.

Full support will be provided by the company including an initial training support to get to grips with the companies processes and procedures.

Examples of What You Will Be Doing Right Away

From the moment you start at the Company you will be hands on in the commercial side of the business. You will be working under the leadership of the management team carrying out daily duties which include:

* Processing orders

* Quoting orders to house accounts

* Chasing orders to gain feedback on the quote

* Stock management

* Liaising with the warehouse over lead times for orders

* Variety of administration work (emails, phone calls, paperwork etc)

* Ensure the computer stock records match physical stock in the warehouse.
