An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Internal Sales Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business supplying specialist wear-resistant solutions to a broad range of industrial sectors.

This role would suit someone with experience in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sales who enjoys working with technical products, building customer relationships, and providing commercially focused solutions.

The Role

Working as part of a professional sales team, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing technical quotations, developing existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities within key industrial markets.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and developing existing customer accounts within a designated territory

* Responding to customer enquiries and preparing accurate technical quotations

* Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate technical solutions

* Supporting business development activities and helping to drive sales growth

* Building strong relationships with customers and internal departments

* Achieving sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service

* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications where required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Previous B2B sales experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment

* Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

* Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
