Description:

Finegreen are currently recruiting an Internal Communications and Engagement Lead to work within an NHS organisation based in the South West England.
This is a direct engagement contact, working on a band 7 salary with agile working in place. The role will work predominately from home with occasional travel across the South West.
The post holder will deliver on their specialist area of communications and engagement within the directorate and work with the team to ensure that work streams and programmes are planned and carried out effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Provide an efficient, effective, and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation;
* Take responsibility for promoting equality and reducing inequalities by ensuring that all communications and engagement work is inclusive, values difference and promotes diversity;
* Oversee, draft and edit internal communications, including colleague briefings, newsletters, intranet news articles, ensuring content is timely, relevant and trustworthy;
* Review emerging/new internal communications tools, techniques and development to ensure the ICB is at the forefront of employee engagement and in line with best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3-5 years of experience in delivery and evaluation of internal change communications and engagement activities in a complex organisation/ ideally within healthcare or the NHS;
* Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment;
* Experience of development of networks and working in successful collaborative partnerships across multiple and diverse agencies and stakeholders;
* Experience of managing a team without direct line management;
* Confident and effective public speaker, including in a virtual setting;
* Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at Senior Management Team level;
* Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications using a broad range of channels, including social media, for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required
