Intermediate/Senior HVAC Design Engineer - Job Overview
Intermediate/Senior Design Engineer required to be based at our client's London office. The company is a well-established leader in the HVAC sector, operating from six regional offices across the UK and experiencing consistent growth over the past 20 years. They provide a full turnkey service, covering design, installation, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems.
In this role, the Design Engineer will be responsible for developing design solutions for HVAC and decarbonisation projects, taking them from initial concept through to construction. Most projects focus on replacing existing assets within occupied environments.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed calculations, drawings & specifications
Develop layouts, schematics and equipment schedules
Contribute to RIBA stage 2-4 deliverables
Undertake energy audits and ROI analysis
Compile and present costed design proposals to clients
Provide guidance to graduate engineers & junior design engineers in the teamIntermediate/Senior HVAC Design Engineer - Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary £41,000 - £65,000 DOE
£445pm to £500pm Car Allowance DOE

3-8 years' building services/HVAC design experience.
Proficient with calculations and design software
Familiarity with CIBSE, ASHRAE and UK Building Regulations
Strong technical writing and reporting ability
