Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
Location: Eltham
Salary: £50,000
We are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our successful Consultancy team based in Eltham, South East London with a potential for Project Team Leader responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a progressive outlook to help drive the delivery of our mechanical services, collaborating with our architectural, building and quantity surveying groups to deliver projects throughout their life cycle.

Job responsibilities:
* Assist Senior Engineers with project design and delivery.
* Understand client needs and regulations; design building services and keep clear project records.
* Create designs that meet regulations and company standards.
* Work with other team members on design coordination.
* Prepare specifications, drawings and schedules for mechanical services.
* Get design work checked by Senior Engineers before release.
* Conduct site surveys and assist with testing and commissioning.
* Share knowledge and help train junior colleagues.
* Assist with budget estimates, cost planning and tenders.
* Attend meetings and help prepare minutes if needed.
* Manage and carry out daily project tasks.
* Lead and manage projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Ideal candidate
* Relevant Mechanical Engineering Degree
* Chartered or working towards
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
* Experience in a consultancy environment
* Associate Member of CIBSE
* Lived in the UK for minimum of 3 years (due to vetting requirements
