Description:
Boden are working in partnership with a leading FM provided who are looking to appoint an interim Technical manager for a small NHS site in Oxford and oversee a small engineering team and subcontractor workforce.
Based at a NHS Hospital in Oxford , the Technical Manager will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards on the contract.
Provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in the Mechanical and Electrical systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
What will you deliver?
* Be the lead manager for all building services on the contract.
* Required to Undertake AP/CP Duties and lead the AP/CP duties of the site team.
* Management of a multidiscipline workforce.
* To work with the relevant operational leads to ensure the service delivery across the full range of services is continually improving.
* Ensuring the onsite PPM scedule is completed.
* Update record drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge at all times.
* Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion.
Who are we looking for?
* Experience particularly in the healthcare environment
* PFI Experience (Preferred but not essential)
* Experience of healthcare
* Experience of managing contractors within healthcare environments.
* Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely.
* Experience with Building Services and experience in Mechanical and Electrical systems.
The project is for an initial 4 month period which is likely to be extended.
