We are currently looking to recruit an Interim Soft Services Manager for a UK Facilities Services provider on a healthcare site in the Oxford area. The role will be for roughly 3-6 months and to predominantly manage the domestic security and cleaning teams

The role:

The management and control of the soft service operation to the agreed specification and to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets. To provide leadership, role modelling and direction to the delivery teams within the soft services areas of the business. To be accountable for excellent service delivery within the soft services team activities and operational objectives ensuring continuous improvements are made

To support the Contract Manager in ensuring the delivery of domestic, portering, linen, waste, security, reception and helpdesk services on the sites, to provide a cost effective and efficient service in line with contract requirements

Primarily a management/organisational role – managing through others, but ensuring they have the necessary competence, training, back-up and support to deliver required outputs. Able to anticipate and deal with issues and be the communication link between senior management and the workforce

Candidate requirements:

>Experience Managing Soft FM services

>Excellent communication and negotiation skills

>Excellent people management skills, clear thinker with the ability to flex to the demands of the role

>Good administrative skills

>Track record of success with strong client relationships

>Good financial acumen, ability to work to a budget.

>Ability to understand data, spot trends and prepare reports.

>Ability to build strong relationships with customers and manage their expectations

>Proven strategic thinker with ability to facilitate change where necessary

>Ideally PFI or healthcare environment experience
