Interim Production Manager
£(Apply online only) per day outside IR35 plus expenses
This is ideal if you love being in on the shop floor driving change. Backgrounds in food, FMCG, packaging - all ideal if you are used to working with teams going back to basics and building from the ground up. Very successful business that has grown at speed and it needs additional resource to change behaviours, introduce new ways of working and to deliver key improvements.
This is all about being in the factory and working with the teams.
The job:
Working with the factory production teams to improve standards and change behaviours.
Ensuring KPI's are met and improved.
Constant communication with the team, peers and senior management.
Maintaining high quality standards.
Working closely with the Site Director.
The Business:
FMCG supplying the major retailers.
Successful growth expected to continue.
Strong track record in their particular product category.
Diverse customer base including major retailers.
You:
Production/operations management experience in short shelf-life chilled food manufacturing.
Proven achievements in working with teams and changing behaviours.
Able to drive improvements across the KPI suite.
Delivering those improvements whilst maintaining production.
Leadership, motivation, and engagement qualities.
A positive, enthusiastic 'on it' approach.
Adept numerically.
People skills in terms of being intuitive and finding a way to identify development needs and how to encourage accountability.
