Interim Payroll Officer
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Location: London (2 days a week in the office)
Contract: FTC - 6 Months
Organisation: Charity
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll, process employee changes, administer workplace pensions, and act as a key point of contact for payroll related queries.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end monthly payroll processing
Process starters, leavers, salary changes, statutory payments and deductions
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
Administer workplace pensions and payroll related benefits
Respond to payroll and payslip enquiries
Support payroll reconciliations and compliance activities
Ensure payroll processes comply with HMRC requirements and internal proceduresAbout You
Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or Payroll Assistant role
Experience processing UK payroll
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of payroll legislation and pension administration
Sage Payroll experience highly desirable
