Description:
We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Senior Operations Manager for Emergency & Elective Pathways. This role will be for 3 months initially and holds potential for some remote working.
This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at c£310 per day.
Key responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for supporting services, working to support development of the winter plan, escalation policy and framework for Emergency & Elective Pathway standards;
Responsibility for all day-to-day operational and general management;
Lead and demonstrate the ability to deliver against key performance targets;
Responsible for developing and maintaining performance management systems to ensure the effective and efficient use of all resources in order to achieve the organisation’s objectives;
Ensure that the Strategic Plan and objectives, operational policies and strategic intentions are implemented or incorporated;
Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and well run services within available resources, ensuring the delivery of the Annual Quality Framework;
Contribute to the management of safety and quality performance and the development and delivery of designated clinical service portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have:
Educated to degree level;
Credible and proven track record of managing operational services within an Acute setting and across Emergency & Elective Pathway services;
Managerial experience at Band 8b level as a minimum;
Strong administrative skills.
