Domus Recruitment are working with an established provider who are seeking an experienced Interim Manager.
This Interim Manager role is a great opportunity for an experienced social care manager with a strong background in learning disabilities and residential services, who can step into a service and provide confident, visible leadership from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the team to provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence, skill development and wellbeing
Ensure the service meets CQC, regulatory and internal quality, compliance and safety standards
Manage budgets, resources and colleagues effectively to maintain a strong and sustainable service
Build positive and trusting relationships with the people supported, families, colleagues and external partners
Support recruitment, induction, training, supervision and appraisal to develop and motivate the team
Provide visible and proactive leadership across the service
Identify and respond effectively to challenges, changes and service improvement requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience managing a CQC-regulated residential service for adults with learning disabilities
Experience of holding or working towards CQC registration
Strong understanding of CQC, safeguarding, quality and regulatory requirements
Proven leadership experience within adult social care
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and solution-focused approach to service management
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care, or a commitment to achieve this
Valid driving licence
