Description:
Domus Recruitment are working with a well-established provider who are seeking an Interim Manager for one of their learning disabilities services.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of new services supporting young adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and complex needs, providing strong operational leadership and ensuring services are established to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing strong operational leadership throughout the mobilisation and development of new supported living services.
Supporting the development of person-centred support plans tailored around the individual needs, goals and outcomes of the people supported.
Completing and reviewing risk assessments, ensuring risks are appropriately managed and documented.
Supporting the smooth transition of young adults into the new services and ensuring continuity of care.
Building strong relationships with the people supported, families, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Providing visible leadership, guidance and support to staff teams during a period of growth and change.
Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and safeguarding across the services.
Ensuring the needs, rights, choices and independence of the people supported remain at the centre of service delivery.
Responding effectively to changing priorities and operational challenges.
Supporting the development of strong, sustainable services while permanent management and staff teams are recruited.Requirements:
Previous experience managing supported living or adult social care services.
Strong operational and people management experience.
Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and complex needs.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance and person-centred care.
Confident managing services through mobilisation, change or development.
