Management Accountant (Contract)
Location: Bristol / Hybrid or Remote
Contract Length: Approx. 4-6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £300 - £400 p/d (umbrella)
We are recruiting multiple Management Accountants to support a large finance function through a period of increased activity and change.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will support month-end close, management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Provide P&L and balance sheet analysis and commentary
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Partner with finance and operational stakeholders
Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial controls
Identify and implement process improvements
Experience Required
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified / part-qualified
Previous Management Accountant experience
Strong month-end and management reporting background
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills
Experience using finance systems such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics or similar
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
