Interim Management Accountant | Tiverton | Up to £30.14 per Hour
An established South West business is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support a busy finance function on an initial 6-month assignment, with an immediate start available.Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, providing commercial insight and supporting operational decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Variance analysis and performance reporting
Preparing profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow reporting
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Monitoring costs, KPIs, inventory and profitability
Business partnering with operational and departmental managers
Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements
Maintaining strong financial controls
Identifying and implementing reporting improvements
Working with Sage 50 and other finance systems
About YouWe're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
Strong management accounting and month-end experience
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or operational environments
The ability to analyse financial performance and provide commercial insight
Confidence partnering with non-finance stakeholders
Experience with inventory, costing, margins and profitability analysis
Strong Excel and finance system skills
A practical, hands-on and collaborative approach
The ability to add value quickly in an established team

Tiverton location
37.5 hours per week
5 days per week onsite
Up to £30.14 per hour
