Description:

Solely HR are delighted to have engaged with a diverse Cornwall based organisation looking for a qualified, full time HRBP who can demonstrate TUPE experience and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. This interim role (10 months) will primarily work from home with the requirement to visit various sites as and when required.

Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will offer daily operationally HR support to the various business units as well as be a confident project lead regarding a consultation process which will involve TUPE transfers, redeployments and possible redundancies.

The successful HRBP will be confident at delivering value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation, as well as be able to efficiently capture HR data to support various business processes.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does act as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Support company restructure and act as the project lead for full consultation process (e.g. TUPE transfers, redeployment and redundancies).

* Work with multiple stakeholders and line management to provide HR advice and guidance in line with HR policy.

* Support the wider HR team to develop specific employee related solutions, programs and policies.

* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

* Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

* Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).

* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

* Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

* Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.

* Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

* Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

* Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Data driven, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

* Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable UK laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.

* Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organisation's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications & Experience:

* TUPE experience essential

* Effective HR Operations experience essential

* HR project work (e.g. workforce restructuring, redeployment & redundancy) desirable

* Minimum of 5 years within HRBP role

* MCIPD Level 5 or above
