Description:
Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a global business based in Warrington as they look to recruit an interim financial controller for an initial 9 month period. This role will be joining a great team and be an integral team member who will be right in the thick of things
Key responsibilities
Responsible for the month end close process working closely with FD and wider finance team
Preparation of the monthly financial reports with additional MI commentary and analysis
Assist with the preparation of the annual report and accounts, monthly consolidated financial statements and board packs
Manage overseas audit for multiple branches
Review and submit the quarterly VAT returns
Take the lead of multiple ad-hoc projects including system implementations and upgrades, transfer pricing and treasury related projects
Help design, build and implement a robust financial framework to support and automate our reporting and MI, as the organisation continues to grow and evolve
Assist with managing and mentoring members of the team to actively train and improve the team
The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with a strong background across similar role, Good excel skills and working knowledge of UK and US GAAP. A good team player with a proactive approach to work
