Working Arrangement: Flexible / Hybrid – predominantly remote, with approximately 1 day per week required for site visits
Hours: Part time- 3 days
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estates / Property Surveyor to support the management of an established property portfolio across Dundee and the surrounding area.
The role will have a strong focus on lease management and general estates functions, ensuring the portfolio is effectively managed and key lease events are proactively addressed.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an existing commercial property lease portfolio.
* Lead on lease renewals, rent reviews and key lease events.
* Provide general estates and property management advice.
* Monitor and manage lease obligations, ensuring key dates and actions are identified and progressed.
* Support the ongoing management and optimisation of the property portfolio.
* Undertake property/site visits, approximately one day per week, across the Dundee area.
* Liaise with tenants, agents, solicitors and other professional advisers as required.
* Provide professional advice on wider property and estates matters.
About You
We are ideally looking for a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with strong experience in lease management and general estates work, although chartership is not essential for the right candidate.
Previous public-sector experience would be advantageous, but candidates from a private-sector property background with relevant experience will also be considered.
You should have experience of:
* Commercial lease management
* Lease renewals and rent reviews
* Lease events and portfolio management
* General estates/property management
* Working across a varied commercial property portfolio
The portfolio predominantly comprises workshops, factories and other miscellaneous commercial assets, so experience across a diverse property portfolio would be beneficial.
The organisation can offer a flexible working arrangement, with no requirement for regular office attendance and approximately one day per week required for property visits
