Domus Recruitment are working with an established provider who are seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Manager to support a learning disabilities service.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on manager with strong people management skills who enjoys supporting teams, improving quality and ensuring individuals receive person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visible leadership and day-to-day support to staff across two supported living services.
Work closely with the Service Manager to maintain and improve the quality of care and support.
Coach and develop staff, encouraging positive working practices and strong professional boundaries.
Spend time observing practice and working alongside the team to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the implementation of changes and encourage a positive, consistent approach across the services.
Help ensure care and support is delivered safely and in line with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes for the people supported.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a management or leadership role within adult social care.
Strong people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
Experience supporting quality improvement and implementing positive changes within a service.
A good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
A current DBS is required.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as travel between the two services is required.
