Description:

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a growing manufacturing business based in Burnley as they look to recruit and interim cost accountant on an initial 6 month contract. This role will work closely with experience finance director and financial controller to ensure accurately consolidation and strong explanations around variances

Preparing a detailed monthly cost analysis and work with the team to develop accurate forecasts
Validating and approving sales and purchase material prices and Purchase Orders
Working closely with manufacturing operations to ensure accurate and timely capture of all production costs and effective analysis of production variances
Supporting the finance team at each month end close, including posting monthly journal entries, completing account reconciliations
Providing the cost accounting expertise for the manufacturing operations
The successful candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, will be qualified (CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience with a strong commercial finance viewpoint. Strong teamwork to join a stable and growing team.
