Job Opportunity – Interim Capital Accountant – Predominantly Remote – 3 Month Rolling Contract
Job Role: Interim Capital Accountant
Contract Duration: 3 Months rolling.
Rate: DOE
IR35: Inside IR35.
Hybrid: Predominantly remote (over 12 months will only be needed in office a handful amount of times).
Days: Preference is full time hours but also happy to consider part time.
Start Date: November.
A local authority client of mine are currently in the market on the lookout for an Interim Capital Accountant to join their team on a 3 month rolling contract.
Main duties:
* This is a purely hands on position, there will be no staff management responsibilities.
* Likewise the council already have a permanent Capital Accountant who you will be working closely with.
* Technical Capital Accounting, fixed asset register, capital closedown etc.
* Capital finance business partnering, budgeting, monitoring etc.
Candidate Requirements:
* Must have experience on both sides of capital: technical and finance business partnering.
* Must have specific capital accounting experience within a local authority setting.
* There will be an expectancy to be able to hit the ground running with your capital accounting expertise.
