I am working with a client who is looking to urgently appoint an Interim Building Surveyor in the South West on an initial 6-12 month contract.

The role will be responsible for overseeing major repairs, planned works programmes, contractor performance, compliance, customer service delivery, and property maintenance operations across a diverse housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing Major Works repairs, planned works, and aids & adaptations projects.

• Supervising contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

• Carrying out inspections, surveys, and technical assessments.

• Managing customer communication, complaints, and service delivery.

• Supporting compliance across H&S, CDM, HHSRS, damp & mould, and building safety requirements.

• Monitoring contractor performance, KPIs, budgets, and operational delivery.
