Search are excited to be working with a long standing client who require an interim Assistant Accountant to join their finance function on a 3 month contract. This role will be essential for bridging the transactional finance with the finance business partner, looking at key variance analysis. Therefore, strong excel skills, including V-Look Ups and Pivot tables are a must.
The business are highly flexible and apart of a larger group which are a listed business. A great working culture and fantastic employees you'll feel comfortable to fit right into the team. The business are best in South Birmingham and operate a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities:
Support the Finance Business Partner with their key duties
Lead on reviewing and closing of the general ledger
Identify any discrepancies within the required set of accounts
Perform key variance analysis
Support the transactional finance function with any ad-hoc requirements Person:
Minimum AAT or QBE
Excellent communication skills
Relevant experience working within a similar role, within a fats paced environment
Intermediate - Advanced excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, SUM IFs etc...
Strong background completing variance analysis
Immediately available - Can start on or before 2nd April. On Offer:
A pro rota salary of up to £40,000 + benefits. A highly flexible working environment with a certain 3 month contract.
