As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll be handling invoice processing and payment management to ensure smooth financial operations. This temporary role is to continue the already smooth running of the AP department, focusing on high volume and accurate processing.

Description
Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure all payments are up to date.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies or issues.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
Communicate with suppliers to address payment queries.
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required.Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
A proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and meeting deadlines.Job Offer
Hourly pay ranging from £16.00 to £19.00, dependent on the level of experience.
6-9 month temporary contract with potential extension.
