Salary : £52,547 to £55,929
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Standard Monday to Friday With flexibility subject to business needs
DUTIES
Lead the Council's Integrated Transport Team safely, effectively and sustainably including provision of technical expertise.
Be an advocate for continuous improvement, ensure best practice is utilised and excellent service provided
Ensure the team are working efficiently and delivering their roles whilst providing specialist/expert advice for the service in line with corporate aspirations.
Be accountable for the team’s capital budget ensuring that the Council receives best value.
Represent the authority at regional meetings, developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educated to Degree level. Must be a member of a recognised professional body.
Knowledge and understanding of strategic and policy issues in terms of the development and implementation of the Transport sector
Candidates must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of legislation and statutory obligations relating to the provision and development of Transport services.
