Up to 38k

Location: Suffolk

A very successful and fast growing Client in the Insurance industry is seeking a Data Analyst for a key Department which focuses on delivering high quality Management Information (MI) service to the Business.

Their success is driven by delivering excellent products and is achieved by providing accurate reports and performance monitoring which helps deliver enhanced Business decision making.

You'll be able to work on a hybrid basis, spending time working at home and in the office.

Your main responsibilities as Senior Data Analyst will include:

Supporting business needs by helping analyse activity data, investigating trends and making recommendations
Building and reviewing data models
Applying tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools)
Identifying, collecting, and migrating data to and from a range of systems
Carrying on data quality assessments, identifying gaps and performing remediation actions
Summarising and presenting data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users
Building and maintaining the appropriate reports and creating data dashboards, graphs, and visualisations for varying audiences within the business
Refining, updating, and timely distributing existing reports, ensuring they remain accurate and are fit-for-purpose as the business evolves
Training end-users about new reports and dashboards
Maintaining awareness of technology changes within the BI industryTo be successful in this Senior Data Analyst role you will demonstrate:

Experience of Power BI, Excel including VBA, and MS SQL
Knowledge of data modelling, cleansing and standardisation
Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
Ability to interpret requirements, presenting data in a clear and compelling way
Accuracy and high attention to detail with high level focus on quality
Capability to interact with people at all levels
