Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of our insurance strategy, making sure it aligns with our broader business objectives.
* Challenge the norm in insurance practices, pushing for innovation and better risk underwriting from providers.
* Manage relationships with suppliers to guarantee we're getting the best service and solutions available.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with insurers, working together on projects to maximise our policy benefits.
* Negotiate terms and manage our group insurance contracts efficiently.
* Handle all aspects of insurance administration, from policy documentation to invoicing and adjustments.
* Provide reliable insurance advice for special projects as needed.
* Oversee the claims process, ensuring smooth and fair settlements.
* Analyse claims data to identify trends and suggest ways to manage risks better.
* Contribute to the development of your team, helping them grow with the business.
What You'll Need:
* Solid experience in the insurance industry, ready to hit the ground running.
* A good understanding of insurance principles, gained through experience or professional qualifications (e.g., CII or IRM).
* The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside the company.
Nice to Have:
* Skill in simplifying complex insurance terms for everyone to understand.
* Confidence in presenting to senior management.
* Experience in managing commercial insurance programs.
* Knowledge of Alternative Risk Transfer mechanisms like Captives.
* A track record of influencing key decision-makers.
