Instrumentation Field Engineer - UK

£45,000 - £50,000 + 5% Bonus

39hr week (Monday - Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm, Friday 8.00am-3.00pm)

Our client is a world leading producer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Instrumentation Support Engineer to join their close knit team. With sites across the world they provide genuine opportunities for progression.

Role & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for the commissioning of new plant and equipment

Review and verification of correct installation, function checking, and commissioning of new plant and equipment

Support plants with maintenance according to the Plant Maintenance programme

Supervises and performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems and equipment

Review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Familiar with the control and instrumentation equipment and systems

Formal Instrumentation Apprenticeship, Tertiary Vocational Qualification to minimum HNC or equivalent

Ability to read instrumentation drawings, trip panel drawings, logic diagrams and tables, PLC and DCS configuration

Operational knowledge of industrial plant and process control systems - Siemens & ABB, instrumentation including maintenance & calibration, quality systems on production sites

Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
