Description:
Our client is looking for an Instrument Engineer for a contract position, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
Technical execution and delivery of projects using technical expertise and experience and any validated associated software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The post holder will report to their Engineering Director/Manager for the execution of technical work, supported by the Human Resources Manager for all non-technical aspects of working.
Performing their day to day duties to the best of their ability and in compliance with HSEQ processes and procedures;
Any other delegated content as instructed by under the direction of line manager.
Supporting business development effort by engaging with existing and potential clients to generate leads and enquiries under the direction of line management;
Execution of engineering projects, design and analysis as required by clients and all interested parties under the direction of line manager whilst complying with processes and procedures;
Execution of all engineering duties in compliance with applicable legislation, codes, standards, and
Quality control and administration procedures;
Production of engineering proposals, schedules and reports in accordance with project commitments, as required by clients and all interested parties;
Report and meet with clients and all interested parties on a project basis under suitable guidance;
Providing mentorship and continuing professional development support to less experienced engineers;
Work will normally be performed at company offices but there may be requirements to work in client offices and/or offshore.
REQUIREMENTS:
Suitable engineering or relevant degree;
Previous relevant engineering experience
