About the Role
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take ownership of subcontract installation teams across the South West, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard for housebuilders and main contractors.
You will play a key role in coordinating installations, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across the contracts operation. The ideal candidate will be organised, commercially aware and confident managing field-based teams within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, coordinate and manage subcontract kitchen installation teams across the South West.
Oversee site installations, ensuring quality standards and project deadlines are consistently met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, main contractors and subcontractors.
Conduct pre-start, pre-fit and installation sign-off meetings.
Monitor installation KPIs, identify areas for improvement and drive performance.
Resolve installation issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimal disruption.
Implement and improve installation processes, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure health and safety requirements are followed across all installation sites.
Work closely with the head office operations team to coordinate workloads and resource allocation.
Support the continued growth of the contracts division through effective operational management.
Requirements / Skills:
Previous experience in contracts management, installation management or a similar field-based role.
Experience managing subcontractors or installation teams, ideally within the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (KBB), construction or housing sector.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A good understanding of installation quality standards, site processes and health and safety requirements.
Experience monitoring KPIs and improving operational performance.
CSCS or SSSTS qualification is desirable.
A full, valid UK driving licence.
A proactive, adaptable and commercially minded approach.
