Installation/Commissioning Engineer - Electrical Bias
Bedford
Days (Occasional Travel To Europe)
£45,000 + Bonus
We are looking for a motivated Installation/Commissioning Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of installation/commissioning/servicing within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
Installing and commissioning bespoke machines, sub-assemblies and components into customer facilities
Training operators and engineers for correct and safe operation of equipment
Supporting customers remotely, attending site for breakdown, repair, service and support
Auditing customer machines and premises
Assembly and testing of heat-sealing components and assemblies
Producing assembly kits for production
Skills and Qualifications
Installation/Commissioning Experience
Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications
Fault Finding ability both Electrical and Mechanical
Food industry background
Hydraulics and Pneumatics
