Installation Engineer

Description:

Xpert Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Door Installation Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company specialising in the installation of high quality industrial and commercial door systems.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing training, and long-term career progression.

Duties will include:

· Installing a range of industrial and commercial doors, including roller shutters, sectional doors, steel doors, and fire doors

· Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and replacement of door systems where required

· Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans

· Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales

· Using power tools and specialist equipment safely and effectively

· Completing site paperwork and installation reports accurately

· Providing excellent customer service while working on client sites

· Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment

· Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations

· Travelling to customer sites across the region with occasional overnight stays if required

Skills/Experience

· Previous experience installing industrial, commercial, or automatic doors

· Mechanical or electrical installation experience would be advantageous

· Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

· Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Full UK Driving Licence

· CSCS Card desirable but not essential

· IPAF or PASMA certification would be advantageous

· Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday

40 hours per week with overtime available
