Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused individual to work within a precision engineering environment, ensuring all finished components meet the required customer, industry and internal quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting finished parts, carrying out in-process quality checks and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

Day Shift

Monday to Thursday, 07:00 until 16:45

* Competitive hourly rate of £16.64 per hour.

Key Responsibilities -

Duties and Responsibilities

* Inspection of certification of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts. Ensuring compliance to requirements before release.
* In-process and finished goods quality certification
* Logging of certificates, etc., onto ERP system
* Communication of quality failures to relevant department and managers.
* Carry out monthly 5S audits & raise safety awareness
* Undertake First Article Inspection reporting activities in accordance with internal processes.
* Reporting of non-conforming parts and ensuring containment is completed. As item 4
* Ensure all work is to the standard of AD Merkblatt, AD2000, and AS9100
* Support all departments with quality system document control.
* Full support & training where required.

Standard Responsibilities

* To participate in the Spincraft ETG Limited performance management system and maintain a personal development plan.
* To ensure the confidentiality and security of all information processed during the course of employment in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and any subsequent legislative revisions and additions.
* To be aware of personal responsibilities under Health and Safety regulations and attend appropriate training.
* To co-operate with risk assessments and ensure that risks are identified and reported as they arise and attend appropriate training.
* To be aware of and adhere to policies and procedures applicable to the role.
* To perform any reasonable duty which lies within the boundaries of your capability.
* To comply with any and all reasonable requests made by management.
