Inspector (Electronics)
Location: Waterlooville
Salary: £30,000
Hours: 7.3 Monday - Thursday, 7.3 Friday
I’m currently recruiting for an Inspector on behalf of a well-established electronics manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience in electronic inspection to join a quality-focused business.
The Role
As an Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring electronic assemblies meet the required quality and industry standards. You’ll be working across both SMT and PTH assemblies, playing a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting production.
Skills
Proven experience in inspection within an electronics manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and PTH (Plated Through-Hole) inspection
IPC certification (ideally IPC-A-610) or relevant training
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
A proactive and reliable approach to work
