Insight Manager

Reporting to Insight Commercial Manager or Insight Director

Main purpose of role Build relationships with clients to drive sales through design, execution and delivery of data-based analytics. The role will play a central part in the visualisation of data to ensure that the client receives analysis and measurement in an easy to use and visually engaging format.

Salary £40-60,000 + 10% annual bonus

WFH predominantly – required to work in High Wycombe 2 -4 times per month

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting, Insight & Evaluation

* Shape and tell stories using data which will allow clients to make fact-based decisions

* Engage with clients in a consultative manner to understand the areas in which they will benefit from insight support

* Develop strong working relationships with managers or key decision makers within your clients

* Support the internal teams by directing them to the most effective course of action through your insight

* Provide feedback on competitor/market intelligence

* Take ownership for ensuring all reports are delivered accurately and to an agreed schedule

* To build relationships across Clients with regular and frequent contact including attendance at commercial presentations, performance reviews and analysis

* Build relationships with all colleagues working on your client account

* Ensure great quality of analysis to enable the delivery of a profitable service with a great return on investment for the Client

* Lead the identification of commercial opportunity in order to direct and challenge client strategy

* Responsible for producing and presenting the findings of analysis to key client contacts

* To build and deliver regular data reports to the Client, ensuring visual impact

Operational & Impact Analysis

To forecast the impact of the field team operation

To measure the actual impact of field operations – ROI (Return on Investment)

To provide analysis and visuals on new product launches and reasoning for success

To produce and monitor promotional effectiveness, profitable promotions and compliance

To supply analysis on price impact

To measure and analyse the impact of POS (Point of Sale) location

To deliver distribution compliance and opportunity analysis

To provide impactful analysis on planogram compliance

Support with the analysis of intervention impact and lost sales opportunity

Lead the analysis on supply chain operational efficiencies

Field Optimisation

To provide and maintain a dynamic call file set driven by EPOS data analytical capability and other third-party data sources

To consistently utilise territory optimisation and journey planning software

Insight Analyst

Reporting to Insight Commercial Manager or Insight Director

Working for an agency that provides outsourced field marketing services and data analytic services

Main purpose of role - To build relationships with clients helping to drive sales through design, execution and delivery of data-based analytics. The role will play a central part in the visualisation of data to ensure that the client receives analysis and measurement in an easy to use and visually engaging format.

Salary £45-60,000 + 10% annual bonus

WFH predominantly – required to work in High Wycombe 2-4 times per month

Skills required

Advanced Excel as well as PowerBI or Tableau

The ability to work with large data sets, to create a visual story and meaningful data Insights, along with reasoned recommendations, within an FMCG, CPG, Retail or Wholesale environment

Advanced Insight Analysis skills – able to create insightful advice

Attention to detail & Data literate

Clear, concise, and professional communication skills

Effective prioritisation skills
