Description:
We are currently recruiting for our client who are located near Ferndown.
They are expanding and as such are looking for a Machine setter to work in their production sector on days.
The responsibilities of a machine setter are:
Ensure efficient and accurate setting of all tools.
Maximise Productivity
Minimise material and labour waste
Attend daily production meetings and agree work schedule
Daily safety checks
Maintain 5s to the required standard
Supply product to finishing area in a timely manner
Tool care
Carry out regular checks on jigs/hand tools
Report air leaks
Other responsibilities include:
Maintain acceptable standards in both the workshop and tool store.
Complete documentation to ensure batch controlis maintained
Control Material drying processes
Make requests for maintenance/spares and consumables
