Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Description:

Belmont Recruitment are recruiting for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to work with Bedford Borough Council. This Is a contract post for a minimum of 3 to 6 months with the view to extend. You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Under direction from the Team Leader for Infrastructure Operations and Team Leader for Application Operations review, support and implement complex technical changes to support the infrastructure and applications being used in the network infrastructure, desktop, server and SaaS environment of Council.

* SharePoint/OneDrive Advanced Admin

* MS Teams Advance Admin

* Intune/Autopilot admin

* Microsoft Always on VPN (User and Device Tunnel)

* VMware/VxRail knowledge

* Windows Server (phone number removed)

* Barracuda Essentials, Incident Response, Impersonation Protection (Sentinel)

* Dell Hardware experience

* Project & Implementation knowledge

Qualifications:

* Relevant Microsoft Exams/Accreditations

* Barracuda Exams/Accreditations

* Dell Exams/Accreditations

* ITIL3/4 Accreditation

Daily rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Location: Bedford, MK42 9AP (hybrid working)
