Information Manager - Surrey - £45p/hr (Outside IR35)
Parity Network are recruiting on behalf of an engineering organisation, who are looking to recruit an Information Manager for an initial 12 months. This role will be full on site working 5 days per week. However, hybrid working is possible.
This role pays up to £45p/hr (DOE) and is likely to be deemed Outside IR35.
Role Overview
The Information Manager role is responsible for the setup, management, and operation of AVEVA ISM and Engineering applications and interfaces with other engineering applications such as SMARTPLANT suite. This includes managing class library updates in ISM, configuration, and operation support of AVEVA Engineering and knowledge of Net / Engage to assemble complex information sets comprising documents/data and 3D model and all associated interfaces.
Key Accountabilities:
Plan, direct, co-ordinate and be the focal point for all data management activities.
Understand the client and internal project requirements for data collection, conditioning, reporting and turnover.
Liaise with engineering and suppliers to ensure completion and compliance of data submission.
Working knowledge, understanding and expertise in AVEVA tools set as follows:
AVEVA Engineering/ISM, configure Grids, List/Sub lists and reports in Engineering.
Admin level support to configure ISM with various Class Libraries as per project requirement.
Good knowledge in configuring ISM with tag naming structures etc.
Knowledge in configuring ISM for list of values, UOMS etc.
Understand how data is transferred between ISM to AVEVA Engineering and AVEVA Net.
Good understanding of IM and Data Management concepts i.e. Data Class Libraries, Interfaces with Engineering Applications etc
Interface with Project/Information Management to ensure active exchange of best practice and alignment of processes and systems.
Manage multi-location, IM data management teams.
