Description:
Hours of work are 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor industrial sewing machines to sew fabric and materials according to specifications
- Adjust machine settings for different fabrics and sewing techniques
- Feed fabric through the machine, ensuring proper tension and alignment
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines
- Knowledge of different sewing techniques and ability to adjust machine settings accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve minor machine issues
