Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join our HR team on an interim 6–9-month contract, with part-time options considered, supporting a complex, unionised manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will help shape and deliver the industrial relations agenda for the Norwich-based Manufacturing Division.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, trade unions and operational leaders to build strong relationships, support collective agreements and provide expert industrial relations advice in a commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of the Manufacturing Industrial Relations strategy.
Build effective relationships with trade unions, managers and senior stakeholders.
Provide advice on collective agreements, industrial relations matters and employment issues.
Identify and manage IR risks, supporting practical and constructive solutions.
Support operational leaders with complex employee relations and workforce matters.
Produce clear communications, reports and guidance to promote consistency across the business.
Strong HR and industrial relations experience, ideally in a unionised and operationally complex environment.
Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience working with collective agreements.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Commercially aware, pragmatic and able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

About You

Strong HR and industrial relations experience, ideally in a unionised and operationally complex environment.
Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience working with collective agreements.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
Commercially aware, pragmatic and able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
