Industrial Electrician - Water Industry
Location: Bristol, City of Bristol
Rate: £280 - £300 per day CIS
GRS are currently recruiting for experienced Industrial Electrician to join a busy installation project in Bristol.
The successful electrician will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation works across an industrial environment, working from drawings and specifications and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out industrial electrical installation works
* Installing and supporting cable containment systems, including tray, basket, trunking and conduit
* Pulling, routing, dressing and terminating cables
* Installing and connecting electrical equipment and components
* Carrying out first and second-fix electrical installation
* Installing lighting, power, isolators and associated electrical systems
* Terminating cables and making electrical connections
* Reading and working from electrical drawings, schematics and installation plans
* Carrying out electrical testing and identifying installation issues
* Working safely at height using access equipment where required
* Working alongside other electrical and engineering trades on site
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Complying with site RAMS, health & safety procedures and electrical standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician
* Valid ECS Card – essential
* Valid IPAF Licence – essential
* Proven experience with electrical containment and cable installation
* Experience working on industrial engineering projects
* Industrial engineering or Water Sector experience highly desirable
* Ability to read electrical drawings and work independently
* Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements
* Own PPE
* Relevant electrical qualifications

* Mechanical & electrical installations
